Privacy Statement
Last updated: 20 October 2026
This statement explains how Techbooky Elite Technology Ltd, trading as TechBooky Elite, handles personal information through techbookyelite.com and related business enquiries.
1. Who is responsible
Techbooky Elite Technology Ltd is the controller of personal information described here. We operate in Nigeria and the United Kingdom. Contact us at info@techbooky.com with the subject “Privacy request”.
This statement covers our corporate website. Venture websites and third-party services linked from it have their own privacy notices. Where we process information on a client’s instructions while delivering a project, the client’s notice and our agreement with that client govern that processing.
2. Information we collect
- Enquiries: your name, email address, message and any business or project details you choose to provide.
- Form metadata: our contact form records the submitting IP address and browser user-agent information. Submissions are stored in the website and sent by email to help us manage enquiries.
- Technical information: website and security services process information about requests, devices, browsers and activity to operate and protect the site. Jetpack provides website statistics and login protection.
- Business communications: correspondence and relevant contact, proposal and engagement records when you discuss or purchase our services.
Please avoid sending passwords, financial account details or sensitive personal information through the general contact form. You do not have to submit an enquiry to browse the site, but we need suitable contact details to reply.
3. Purposes and legal grounds
We use enquiry information to answer questions, discuss requirements and take steps you request before entering a contract. We use relevant business records to deliver agreed services and manage our relationship. Where these activities concern a company’s representative rather than an individual contracting with us, we rely on our legitimate interests in conducting business and communicating with that representative.
We also rely on legitimate interests to maintain site security, prevent abuse, manage correspondence and understand site performance, subject to your rights and applicable rules. We process records when necessary to meet legal obligations. Where consent is required, including for relevant marketing or non-essential storage technologies, it must be obtained separately; sending an enquiry does not itself give marketing consent.
4. Service providers and sharing
Information is accessible to people who need it to handle enquiries or deliver services, and to providers supporting our hosting, email, website maintenance and security. Jetpack is provided by Automattic; see its privacy notice for information about its services. We may disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
5. Cookies and external content
WordPress uses cookies for functions such as authenticated sessions and account preferences when you log in. Jetpack services also process visitor activity and technical information. Some images load from external hosts, including Pexels and venture asset servers; those hosts receive the technical information needed to deliver the image, such as your IP address and browser request.
Social and venture links take you to independently operated sites with their own privacy practices. You can manage cookies through your browser, although blocking essential cookies can affect login and other functionality. Browser settings are not a substitute for consent where the law requires it.
6. International processing
Our operations span Nigeria and the UK, and website and communications providers may process information in other countries. Applicable data-transfer rules depend on the destination, provider and processing involved. You can contact us for details about the locations and transfer arrangements relevant to your information.
7. Retention and security
Retention depends on the purpose of the record, whether an enquiry remains active, the duration of a client relationship, and applicable accounting, legal and dispute requirements. Contact-form records and email correspondence may exist in separate systems; submitting a form does not trigger automatic deletion after a fixed period. Contact us to ask about retention or request deletion of your information.
We use access controls and website security measures to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
8. Your rights
Depending on applicable UK or Nigerian law and the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal information, and object to certain processing, including processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting processing already lawfully carried out. These rights are subject to legal conditions and exceptions.
Email info@techbooky.com. We may request proportionate information to confirm your identity and understand your request. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or the Nigeria Data Protection Commission, as applicable.
9. Updates
We may update this statement when our website, practices or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
